Each roll carries a coin-cell wireless tag with its own identity. The CC32 control box continuously takes a register of every tag it can hear. A tag that stops answering — carried away, shielded, or destroyed — fails the roll-call, and that is the alarm. Nothing has to be armed, and there is nothing for a thief to switch off first.
The yard needs no wiring, no gates, no beams and no cameras to work — everything active is the tags themselves and the CC32 control box that listens to them.
A small, rugged Bluetooth Low Energy tag sticks to the roll or drum and beacons its unique identity on a coin cell measured in years, not months. Each tag is paired to its roll at goods-in with one QR scan — so the alarm names the roll, its cable type and its value, not just "a tag".
